About Linette

The last child and youngest daughter of Duke and Duchess Barca, Linette has always been a handful. Born as a twin to Lucius, what rugged practicality the boy inherited was skipped altogether with Linette, who instead grew to be a flighty, cheerful child more often sporting bruises and scrapes as opposed to girlish blushes while growing up. That isn't to say she wasn't a dutiful daughter -- On the contrary, she often tries to please her family; it's just that her penchant for adventure and mischief gets in the way at times.

Due to being born so small (hence her nickname of 'Runt') she's always had to prove that she can do what her brothers and sisters can do. Sometimes she succeeds and surprises them all. Others, well, she'll have a nasty fall or two that probably would have hurt her badly were it not for the healers that her father employs. But still she fights, with dogged determination, to prove her worth. It often makes it so that she takes risks that she shouldn't. Headstrong, stubborn and relentless to the last degree, she is a true daughter of Duke Barca.

Recently Linette returned home after being abroad for some six months training with the legions, and no doubt her return will stir up some additional life in the castle.
